She was raised by a Bangladeshi family profoundly committed to education and has chosen to bring her global leadership experience to lead Bangladesh International Tutorial (BIT), a leading international English medium school in Bangladesh founded by her mother, Ms. Lubna Choudhury.

Throughout her career, with leadership positions at the Center for Reproductive Rights, USA for UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund), the Ms. Foundation for Women, the Rainforest Alliance, and NRDC, Ms. Rahman has been a voice—and a catalyst—for change. Ilham Adnan Alam is an experienced educator who has spent many years helping students and teachers thrive in international school settings. With a Master’s in Education from the United States and a strong background in English, curriculum design, and teacher development, he has supported schools through roles such as Dean of Academics and Cambridge Program Leader.

Ilham is passionate about creating positive, student‑centered learning environments and supporting teachers through meaningful professional growth. As Vice Principal of BIT School, he is committed to building a warm, collaborative community where every learner feels valued and inspired to succeed.

Academic Head (Senior School Gulshan)

Mr. Mahdi Samdani has been serving at Bangladesh International Tutorial for over 12 years as the Head of Academics for the Senior School, Gulshan, and Lead Teacher for IGCSE and IAL Accounting. He plays a key role in academic leadership, curriculum planning, assessment oversight, and teacher mentoring, ensuring quality teaching and consistent academic standards.

With strong subject expertise and a structured, student-focused approach, he is committed to supporting both teachers and students in achieving academic excellence.

Tauseef H. Ahmed has always been passionated about teaching and education, which led him to join BIT in 2017 as a teacher. Since then, he has progressed into a leadership role focused on early and primary years education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from North South University and a Master’s degree from Independent University, Bangladesh, and has completed professional training under DISA.

Head of Finance & Accounts

Mr. Md. Moniruzzaman is a Finance and Accounts professional with over 15 years of experience in Financial Management, Budgeting, Accounting, Auditing, Cost control, and regulatory Compliance. He has been serving Bangladesh International Tutorial Limited(BITL) since 2011 and currently holds the position of the Head of Finance & Accounts. In this role, he oversees financial planning, budget preparation, financial reporting, audit coordination, cash flow management, and institutional financial governance.Mr. Moniruzzaman holds a Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting. He has also pursued Professional development in CACC & Law, along with specialized training in Tax, VAT, and ICT. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership in managing complex financial matters, supporting board and committee activities, and ensuring transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Mr. Norbut J-Are Gomes

Head of HR and Logistics

Mr. Norbut J-Are Gomes is the Head of HR and Logistics with 19 years of professional experience, including 13 years in senior leadership roles across multinational and national organizations. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management (HRM), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (PGDPM), and is an IRCA-approved Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2008. He served as a member of the Organizing Committee for the International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (i-IKM) Throughout his career, he has successfully organized more than 40 international and national training programs, seminars, workshops, and conferences. His expertise includes HR strategy, organizational development, labour law compliance, employee relations, and quality management systems. Mr. Gomes has contributed to professional development through published newspaper articles and active involvement in academic and professional forums.

Md. Shakil Mannan is an experienced higher education academic administrator with over 14 years of strong professional background in university governance, student affairs, institutional management, research, and academic services. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University Malaysia Sarawak, with research focused on organizational practices in higher education. His professional experience spans key administrative roles within universities, where he has contributed to policy implementation, student services management, and academic administrative operations. Mr. Shakil has been serving as the Head of Student Affairs since January 2025, overseeing student-related activities and initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement, welfare, and the overall academic experience.

She has played a key role in developing growth strategies, strengthening school-community relationships, and creating impactful campaigns that enhance student recruitment and brand visibility. Her experience in teaching and educational psychology enables her to understand the needs of students and families, ensuring a personalised admissions journey.
