2nd International Award In Three Days, For BITL Director Ms. Anika Rahman! Two Bangladeshis Recognized!

B.I.T. is proud to announce the second international recognition of its Director Ms. Anika Rahman, daughter of Founder Principal and Chairperson of BITL Ms. Lubna Choudhury. Another honoree, is Bangladeshi-American Soprano Monica Yunus- daughter of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Professor Mohammad Yunus.

Ms. Rahman and Ms. Yunus have been recognized on the list of “Desi Women Making Herstory” along with other South Asian Women living in America. The list features twenty-one incredible women who are empowering the community and other women in the diaspora. The article notes, “these women are emboldening many by working hard to leave their imprint in various fields; whether its politics or entertainment or food or science. Desi women are here to stay and these 21 fierce inspirations are only the tip of the iceberg.”

The list of 21 powerful Desi Women Making Herstory, also includes CEO and Chairwoman of PepsiCo Indra Nooyi and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai among others.
